Heritage are pleased to have won highly commended amongst the entrants for the 2018 King of Prussia Gold Medal Award.

In 2014 a detailed inspection of problem areas was carried out, revealing around 10 tonnes of unsupported plaster and extensive dry rot throughout the Chapel. This lead to immediate closure, a temporary structural supporting scaffold the Chapel was added to HE’s Buildings at Risk register.

Heritage were pleased to be selected as the Main Contractor to carry out the extensive repair works to bring the Chapel back to life and enable the doors to be reopened to the public.

Mick, one of the Company Directors at Heritage attended the awards in London with Architect Mark Pearce who ran the project – both parties are delighted with the outcome.

TESTIMONIALS

Heritage Conservation Restoration replaced part of our church roof. The standard of workmanship, the regard for health and safety, the understanding of heritage requirements was excellent and the company and workforce were flexible, responsive and imaginative when unexpected issues were identified during the course of the project. They worked hard to make sure that disruption to the life of the church was kept to a minimum. We would be very happy to engage them for future projects.

The whole Chancel area was re-decorated & new carpeting laid. The completed work…

The monument came from the Palace…
